Maxine Westbrook Moore Scholarship Program

Each year, the Pickens County Republican Party accepts submissions for our Maxine Westbrook Moore Scholarship.

Two graduating seniors who are Pickens County residents are selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship toward continuing education at any accredited college or technical school.

The most up to date (2022) scholarship application can be found below.

Applicants must submit the the above scholarship application, their 500-600 essay, and the below specified documents by April 30th, 2022.

Additional Required Documents:

• High School transcript as of December 2021, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

• College or technical school acceptance letter, if available.

If you have difficulty obtaining a transcript from your High School, it is available at gafutures.org. The scholarship committee may also obtain PHS transcripts with your consent.

How does the government, established by the Constitution, embody the purposes, values, and principles of American democracy?
