Crayola.com celebrates “month of jihad” | Creeping Sharia

Visit crayola.com‘s free coloring pages and the first items are Islamic from the Ramadan section.

“Everything you need to unleash kids’ imaginations.”crayola3crayola crayola2

Recall that Muslims consider Ramadan the “month of jihad” and “month of victory” over infidels. Crayola should remind kids not to try and draw Muhammad lest their parents need to fend off Muslims and enter witness relocation – like the creator of Everyone Draw Muhammad Day – since the FBI nor anyone else will protect them.

Christmas trees and bunnies abound but a search for the Bible returned zero results.

I dislike calling people stupid and/or bigoted without definitive proof thereof, but I must then assume that you are too lazy to have paged through the Holiday section of Crayola’s free coloring pages.

There you will find literally dozens of pages free for download centered around Christian holidays, including no less than five pages of Christmas bingo. There are also dozens concerned with Jewish holidays. In your perpetual rush to demonize Islam, you’ve failed to do any due diligence. Perhaps your laziness belies what you really are.

This article was not written by Pickens GOP; perhaps you rushed too quickly to ASSUME that you know better than we what our website does. Please look at other articles from all the different sources we scan. We cannot please, or appease all, but we can give everyone who wants to read many articles they might not find themselves, an opportunity to become aware of the good, the bad & the ugly. Please continue to visit our website and comment as you will.

  2. Rebecca says:

You have got to be joking. You’re worried about a coloring book? Good grief.

  3. ignatz says:

Now you’re freaking out about coloring books? What in the hell is WRONG with you people?

  4. A Pink Poodle says:

So Christmas is not a good enough example despite the War On Christmas™ hullaballoo every year about how liberals are taking Christ out of Christmas?

  5. Jeff says:

I’m no fan of Islam, but even I’m not f##king stupid enough to be offended by this. There are over a billion of those people, you know. It’s not the end of the world if someone makes a f##king coloring page for some of them. Whoever posted this is cowardly and weak.

  6. Adam says:

This is such a nonsense article despite the best of intentions.

Ramadan is a month marked by Muslims all over the world as one of personal struggle (jihad) and sacrifice in order to understand and reflect on provision through good action, learning and fasting, a common theme in many religions, including Christianity and Judaism.

Despite what you may believe Ramadan to be based on the possible actions of a few individuals or groups in the world, there is absolutely no reason to complain to Crayola about ‘creeping Shariah’ anymore than there is to complain about ‘creeping Paganism’ because their Christian festival images have more trees and bunnies than images of the Bible or Jesus Christ.

There’s a real issue of challenging fanaticism and all kinds of dogmatic injustice or violence against others but targeting a crayon company for wanting to equally represent all faith and their festivals is not the way to go about it. Peace.

    Please stop.

You’re embarrassing the Great State of Georgia.

  8. John Boriack says:

Most Muslims are peace-loving people. I know, having lived in Muslim countries for 14 years working for Exxon. This is just a coloring book. How many Muslims do you know personally?

All articles shown on our website are from a myriad of locations. Our intent is to share opinions from all sources on things happening in our world. This is our only goal, to educate through media what is happening throughout the world. With the exception of a few comments on this article which had mostly expletives and no real content, we are happy to share everyone’s opinions. We hope you all will continue to read all articles on the website and continue to make comments as you feel led.

      • Ryan says:

Except that you’re not sharing an opinion – saying Ramadan is the “month of jihad” is like saying Christmas is the “month of crusading.” It’s not just plain crazy-talk, it’s incorrect. Wrong. It’s not something you can HAVE an opinion about.

Seriously, the next that admin posts an article this poorly researched, they’re fired [booted].

This is not the opinion of our website or our party; this, as all our articles, are taken from multiple sources, liberal & conservative. If you look at the bottom of each article, you will see the source. We appreciate that you took time to make a comment; however, if this had been called to your attention as a Democratic website, would you have been as upset? We will continue to provide articles for view that show as many sides of any issue. You are welcome to contribute sources if you feel we have missed your favorites. Thank you for your comments.

    • Jeff says:

I’m not sure if you’re replying to me (the web site notified me that you are, but I’m not sure), but I have Muslims in my family and love them dearly. I’ve been in 2 Muslim countries–Morocco and the UAE–and was treated with the utmost hospitality and respect both times. So, to answer, I know a couple dozen Muslims.

      • Rawan Latif says:

Yet your response called them “those people”?

        • Jeff says:

Oh, shut up. Yes, you are right. I am not as PC as you. By “those people” I meant those who were the target audience of the ads. If you couldn’t figure that out, that your problem. The end.

        • Jeff says:

p.s. Rawan, I have no quarrel with you. If you took offense at my wording, I apologize. I realize that Muslims are often the targets of hate-mongers. I don’t think “those people” is an offensive term when the context is given. But maybe I’m wrong. Peace to you, and I apologize for my earlier angry response.

  9. RPM says:

Do any of you people understand that Judaism, Christianity and Islam all came from the same region of the world, they all worship one God and they all claim that this one God is the only God? Did it ever occur to any of you that these are simply different factions of the same religion? There are factions in Judaism, Christianity and Islam so why couldn’t these 3 religions be factions of the same religion? Case in point; Judaism is the forbearer of Christianity and the Tora is the Old Testament. Where you there when the Tora, the Bible or the Quran were written? Or do you just go by your own bigoted interpretation of these books. My guess is that most of you have not read anything beyond the Bible (if you’ve even read the Bible) and have no clue what you’re so angry about. Why not try to live the way Jesus Christ taught us to live, instead of perpetuating persecution in the name of your perceived God.

    • GOP Admin says:

As you say, “Why not try to live the way Jesus Christ taught us to live, instead of perpetuating persecution in the name of YOUR perceived God.” Good advice; perhaps, your perception is the telephone pole in your eye while you are trying to get the film off my eyes. Attacking this website for this one article is so typical of today. Have you read any of the other articles? Funny this is the only one that has had any comments. Oh, by the way, I do have Muslim friends, Jewish friends, Christian friends, several agnostics, many Democrats, etc.-now I can claim you all as my new friends. Thanks for your views.

This is ridiculous. Another harebrained idea from the Georgia GOP, the party that believes evolution and microbiology are lies from the pits of hell.

I’m ashamed we have such willful ignorance in this great state of ours.

    • Nancy says:

Are you now or have you ever been a member of the GOP of Georgia? The Pickens County GOP states our mission and we are not ashamed of being GEORGIAN or REPUBLICAN. Sorry you have to throw mud and call us names when you do not know us. Other Georgians might not like your calling names since that tends to throw you to the liberal side. That is the way they create splits and try to make people back down. Keep reading from our website. You at how many articles show the different sides of issues. Sorry you did not take time to give us some credit for trying to create a website that gives all opinions a chance. We will look for more less than positive feedback from you about other articles. Thanks for reading that one article. Wow! One article.

And next February, the free pages will likely be about Chinese New Year, because that will be current then.

  12. TNT 65 says:

This is such a stereotypical reaction by the uninformed and willfully ignorant that it made me laugh.
Keep on going with the lies and misinformation. Each time you do it more people realize what it really is and drop any affiliation they might have, or thought they might consider, with you.

  13. Not From Ga Now says:

This is a very sad and ignorant statement from my former state. There are stupid people everywhere so please stop trying to win the “Stupid Redneck” award.

    • Nancy says:

We quit awarding that when you left. We just didn’t have any good candidates anymore. Maybe where you live now will give you the mental stimulation you need to feel superior to everyone in the state where you live now. We had not missed you until you made this malicious comment.

The 1st Amendment of the Constitution provides everyone the right to express their opinions. We were not expressing any opinion, we were simply making info available from multiple sources about issues in the news today. Each article shows the source of the information. Take it up with the actual source if you disagree. Our website will continue to use any and all sources providing all angles of an issue because we feel that without facts or fictions, you cannot make an intelligent decision. Decide what you wish. Thank you for your comment.
